Gehno Aviance also known as "1A" has been part of the House of Aviance since 1989. Gehno has been DJing out since 1992. He got his start playing at legendary parties and raves such as Ultraworld and FEVER in Baltimore and Buzz in DC. Shortly thereafter he was playing up and down the East Coast. In the mid- 90's he joined the Snowball Collective from NYC and DC and went on to throw some of the most-talked about (to this day) underground and weekly parties in the D.C. / Baltimore Area , such as D.C. United, Unite, Full Circle and Fast Forward, Wild Things, Snowball, 360 and many more.

In 1998 he moved to San Francisco where he has continued to DJ 'till this day. Currently he is a resident at Hardbox(SF), Romper Room(SF), Under Construction (SF) and Forsaken (CHI). Some of his recent club appearances have been: 222 Hyde (SF), Bubble (SF), Deep East(OAK), Club Cub (SD), What?! (SF), Forsaken (CHI) , Madrid Massive (MAD) and many more.
 

 Leaning towards Deep House, Gehno's style has a wide range. His sets incorporate Deep Tech, Garage, Breaks and Techno into a seamless musical journey deep rooted in the past whist always keeping his finger on the pulse of the future. He may even drop an original track or two.
